It's been a while for me to write an entry about tech gadgets. Therefore today I am going to talk about the newly released Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Samsung Galaxy A35 5G.  I am thrilled to get my hands on both  Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Samsung Galaxy A35 5G to try and experience the amazing new features.

On March 19th, 2024, Samsung Malaysia brought the latest additions of the beloved Galaxy A Series to stores nationwide.  Alternatively, everyone knows that Samsung's Galaxy A phones are a lower-cost alternative to the company's premium devices. Rest assured, the Galaxy A series equally meets the needs of consumers, who seek awesome devices at accessible prices. 

Comes with many more upgraded features packed with awesome innovations, from versatile photography to stunning displays. However, for the first time, the new Galaxy A Series devices are now integrated with better flagship security features to safeguard your digital needs.

Improved Octa-core

The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G is powered by the Samsung Exynos 1480 processor, an octa-core chipset clocked at up to 2.7 GHz.

The Exynos 1480 comes with a 5G modem that supports both sub-6GHz and mmWave. With download speeds of up to 5.10Gbps. Twice as fast as the predecessor model allows you to experience faster, smoother gaming and streaming.

Storage

The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G comes in two storage options: 128GB and 256 GB. It can also be expandable with a microSD card (up to 1TB) for additional storage.

Battery 

Battery Capacity 5,000mAh battery capacity - non-removable battery 

The Galaxy A55 apparently takes 1 hour and 15 minutes for a full charge. 

Durable against dust and water

IP67 dust and water resistance isn't just a feature. It can be your device's shield against the elements. Designed to be safeguarded against dust and water intrusion. It can withstand immersion in water of a depth of up to 1 meter for a maximum of 30 minutes without getting significant internal damage.

Not advised for beach or pool use. The water and dust resistance of the device is not permanent and may diminish over time due to normal wear and tear.

Samsung Galaxy A55 price

The latest Samsung Galaxy A55 price in the Malaysia market is RM1999 with 12GB RAM | 256GB Memory. 

Final verdict

Is the Samsung A55 worth to buy? 

For me, It's definitely a big YES.  You won't be disappointed, it's actually worth getting one if you are on the budget! I have never seen a very good Quality on Midrange Smartphones in that price range. Considering the overall aspects and price, the Galaxy A55 is a reliable premium phone worth investing money in.
