GEO RESORT & HOTEL, GENTING HIGHLANDS

Hey All 💚

Last month, my family decided to take a vacation while A'isy is on school holiday. It's been a while since we had a family vacation due to Covid19 and we took the chance to go somewhere near and cold since the weather in Selangor was hot. Therefore, we decided to go to Genting Highlands. 

But we wanted a room that fit all four of us comfortably. I want to have my own bed for sure. Mama need some perfect rest to assure a  good mood on our holiday! So we've chosen GEO Resort & Hotel as they have a family suite that's really suitable for us four! Located in the middle of Gohtong Jaya, surrounded by a neighbourhood full of shops, so you don't have to worry about midnight snacks. It's a walking distance of 5-10 minutes. 

 It's not on top of Genting Highlands though. You still have to drive out to the peak if you want to visit the indoor or outdoor park. You have an option to either drive up to Genting or drive to the cable car at Genting Premium Outlet. It only takes around 5 minutes to drive to GPO. 

GEO Resort & Hotel used to have a charter bus to bring you to GPO but due to health and sanitation reasons due to Covid. They have halted the service for a while. 

From the exterior building, you can see how huge and extravagant GEO Resort & Hotel looks. Not to worry, there's ample parking space and best yet, you don't have to pay for the parking at all. Hence, if you're coming in a convoy of cars, it's still FREE as long as you are staying in though. 

Once entered, I'm greeted with a warm greeting and smile from the hotel staff. The Lobby is HUGE and mesmerizing with all the detailing. You can take loads of pictures while waiting to check in.  After you've checked in, they will give you 2 cards for you to enter your room and also your access card for your lift. Which is great for security purposes. 

No worries. The internet Wi-Fi is Free upon checking in and they will give you the password for you to enjoy unlimited internet access. It's quite fast to my surprise! 

Look at the night view. Its so beautiful. 

We stayed in the Family Suite Room. It's truly an ideal room for families with young kids, The Family Suite comes with a queen-size bunk bed and a super king-size bed, an en suite bathroom, and floor-to-ceiling windows to lighten up the room and framing stunning views of the vibrant neighbourhood or magnificent mountain view. I got the mountain view. Yeay! I can see the top of Genting Highlands from my room. 

The kids truly were excited to get their own bunk bed. I don't have to offer them to sleep with me at all. They wanted to sleep by themselves. Ahhh the relief 😁 Mama can finally have her own space. 

The Family Suite offer 39 sqm of pure comfort. So spacious! There's space under the bunk bed for your kids to play or even for an additional bed for your extra kids. (charges apply**) Definitely a great room for big families. 

It has in house room treats and also in house Coffee Maker ( save my life again!)

Though the Family Suite doesn't have a bathtub. The shower is still wide enough for the kids to play. It has a walk-in rainforest shower and also a slab for you to sit while showering. GEO Resort & Hotel absolutely are handicapped-friendly. You don't have to worry about the space at all. 

Breakfast

The room includes 4 adult breakfasts which you can dine in at their beautiful Cabana Restaurant. They serve a variety of breakfast choices from local to international cuisine. From Nasi lemak, Mee Goreng, Sausages, Bread Station, Cereals, Fruits, Egg Station and more but the star of the day surely is the 'Roti Canai' station where you can enjoy your ' Roti Terbang' or ' Roti Sarang Burung' freshly made for you by the executive chefs. 

No worries, Cabana Restaurant is certified Halal by Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM)! So eat, enjoy and experience the great food served at Cabana Restaurant. 

The Pool 

The pool is on the same level as the Cabana Restaurant. Of course, they have 2 different pools for adults and children. Mind you, the view is spectacular! Though it was a bit cold when we tried out for a swim nonetheless, the kids enjoyed it and Mama had a great relaxation time sipping coffee and enjoying the view. 

 

Total fun in the sun with cold wind and mesmerizing view!!
