Since being a wife and a mom of 2 kids, I rarely have the time to pamper myself, especially for manicures and pedicures. It's hard to take care of yourself when all you do is take care of others is your main priority. But considering that my kids are getting a bit older, I took the liberty to take some time off for myself by sending them to a babysitter for the day.

Hence, I did some research to where is the best mani-pedi salon nearby and a place where I can enjoy it with my husband since it is going to be his birthday soon this 26th Dec. So why not both of us have some indulging date session together, right?

Cutiecle - The Nail Experts is an establishment that offers nail beautification services for men and women. They offer services for hands and feet, including manicures, pedicures, nail polish application, nail repair, and hand and foot treatments.

Therefore, I found Cutiecle - The Nail Experts is the best suitable place for me. They have 4 outlets, IPC Shopping Centre, Mutiara Damansara, Giant Kota Damansara, Central I-City Shah Alam and The Mines Shopping Centre Seri Kembangan. So I chose their Giant Kota Damansara outlet since it's nearby. The most reasonable thing was they also cater for men and couples too! Yeay!

Due to the fact that I wanted to do the treatments with my husband, it's best to make an appointment so that we don't clash with other Muslimah customers. Upon arriving, the staffs are welcoming and friendly. 

Following the S.O.P, we were asked to scan MySejahtera and temperature before entering. . After that's done, I promptly asked them for their professional opinions on what treatments should me and my husband get since we had no clues on the latest trends and all.

After all pros and cons were well discussed, they've suggested for me the 'Advanced Care Total' which caters for my hands and foot. It's actually a combining package from 'Rejuvenating Manicure' and 'Footlogix Pedicure' and I can pick a Complimentary treat either Buffing or Gel Application for both hands and foot under the Advanced Care Total package. I've chosen the Buffing treatment instead.

My husband has chosen Buffing manicure and pedicure which takes approximately 2 hours. 'Just a simple Buffing will do', said the soon birthday boy. He was so enthusiastic to finally get his nails prep and done. I used to do his mani-pedi at home but for sure it's not the same as the professionals. 

My hands, besides getting the standard manicures. In the package for ''Rejuvenating Manicure'', I get a hand massage, hand scrub and also a hand clay mask wrapped in a hot pack. Let me tell you while getting all these massages and all. I almost fell asleep. That is how soothing and relaxing it felt. And shows how soft and delicately I was handled by the staff.

The outcome of both my hands after the hand sauna treatment was outstanding and excellent!! My skin feels soft, rejuvenated, reinvigorated and refreshed. This a treatment you shouldn't miss!!

OMG Look at those callused skin 😱😲

Though I was squirmish at first when they had to my foot as I was a bit ticklish. I was stunned and amazed to see how much of callused skin was scraped off my feet! But trust me, it does not hurt at all. 

The staff is so courteous, she kept on asking me if I was okay? Does it hurt? This really assured and calmed me so much. I really love and appreciate how precise and experienced the Cutiecle staffs are to make customer feels comfortable and relaxed.

For my manicure finale, I of course wanted coloured nails. Just for the sake of it. Lol. For Muslimah clients, if you want some coloured nails even for a day, you can choose either their Halal ELM Breathable Nail Polish or The Peel Off Nail Polish which is Halal- Certified. It's Muslim Friendly and Removable. 

I had the ELM Breathable Nail Polish since I was menstruating, so I can wear it a bit longer than usual days.

I used to hate doing my nails, especially on my hand as some had done poorly manicures, either by wrongly cutting or trimming my nails too short or pushing my cuticles so far back that it hurts afterwards. 

My husband also was satisfied with the service, he can't take off his eyes looking at his now, trimmed, polished and shiny nails. We'll definitely come again for another couple date pampering session.
