MY FIRST PIGMENTATION
CHEMICAL PEEL TREATMENT

Since the pandemic started last year, I’ve been suffering from a severe breakout around my jawline. I guess it's due to the stressful situation and wearing a face mask constantly doesn't help me either. It has gotten so much worse everyday.

I tried everything from turning back to basic skincare which only consist of Cleanser, Toner , Moisturizer and Sunscreen. Sometimes I just skip the moisturizer depending on my skin needs. Changing my skincare products to a suitable one just to adjust to my skin condition.
I also use a topical solution to make the acne stop from raging out profusely ! Thankfully my acne has reduced and my skin is healing slowly. But what's bothering me was the dark spot or hyperpigmentation on my skin looks from the acne scars.

My skin is quite sensitive and even though I don't squeeze my pimples, my skin will still bore the acne dark spot which is really annoying as now I need to find a solution to treat my dark spot.

Eventually I went to visit the nearest DERMALENE clinic which was Shah Alam. Once entered, I was greeted and was given a form to fill in for the Skin Consultant to get a better knowledge of my skin care routines and such.
After that, I was welcomed and greeted by Miss Wawa.

She consulted me on my skincare products usage, my skin condition and checked my skin through their machine. I was fascinated by the way Miss Wawa explained all the details to me. I have large pores, light wrinkles lines, medium hyperpigmentation visibility and such.

And the conclusion was that I need to get a Pigmentation Treatment which is Chemical Peel.

The treatment brightens the skin and helps to even out skin's complexion. It will also lighten my dark spots and hyperpigmentation due to the acne scar. In the same time to reduce my acne breakout.

Miss Wawa did advise me that by using Chemical Peel, some might experience redness, skin peeling, itchiness and such due to the chemical. The best thing is it doesn’t have any downtime which is great.

You will feel a bit stingy feeling while applying the chemical peel on your skin . They also apply Vaseline around your mouth and on the side crack of your nose to protect your lips and nose as it has slightly thinner skin and quite sensitive.

After I have done all the treatment, honestly I felt my face cleaned and refreshing and I can see immediately that my skin looks brighten and fresh.

I had no problem for the 1st Chemical Peel and as time goes, after 2 weeks. I can see that my skin feels better, smoother and my acne is not popping out like it used too. Yes there is still acne , like 2-3 spots but it was better than before.

They also checked up on me every week to see my skin progress. Therefore kudos for the great services given ! My skin still has a long way to go to achieve that flawless , acne-less , healthy glow skin as I used to had . Patience and hard work is the KEY !
I love how my skin feels nowadays and I don't need to use heavy foundations and concealers to cover my acnes and dark spots as much as I used too !!
