myCITTA Offers Shoppers Ease, Comfort and Boundless Options

It's been awhile for me to have a day out by myself without the kids. Considering I had the chance, I decided to head to CITTA Mall which was quite near my place.

What I like about CITTA Mall is that its home to a multitude of enterprises that cater to a diverse audience. CITTA Mall adopts an open-air surrounding with an emphasis on space, integrating seamlessly adjourning community by providing visitors a wealth of food and ample entertainment options.

For that reason , it's definitely a great choice for me to come and enjoy myself in a place where I can find all my favourite cuisine in one location.

Just as I visited CITTA Mall, I saw this huge signboard in front of the entrance that caught my attention. CITTA Mall has officially launched its delivery platform, MyCITTA. Shoppers can now simply tap their purchases from the comfort of their homes or office just by accessing the platform via CITTA Mall's website at www.citta.com.my

The great news is that it features an array of merchandise by retailers who operate in CITTA Mall,  myCITTA offers shoppers the flexibility and convenience in browsing and making purchases online. From buying a pack of chips or even signing up for a new fitness programme, CITTA Mall's patrons can opt for home delivery or self-pickups upon making a purchases.

To date, there are over 35 participating stores onboard. All of whom offer a wide selection of merchandise. 

Among participating merchants shoppers can look forward to on myCITTA include A slice of Heaven, Beans N Beans, Wingstop, Fruitlab, Peak Fitness, Ashley Furniture HomeStore, Canning Heritage,Gajahmada, House of Malaya, Penyet Express, A Beauty Secret Studio, A&W, Boozeat, Gadget C Store, Iyakimono, JOMLaksa, Manjakaki, Marrybrown, Mikey’s Pizza, Onde Onde, Para Thai, Tail & Fin, The Barn, Twinbow, Union Roastery, MaggyMe, Universal Noodle, Ying Ker Lou, Waroeng Penyet, Wrappe, Deli Wau, B Optique, and Julia Gabriel & Chiltern House Preschool.

Since I was on my free time the whole day, I had tried three restaurant that participated in myCITTA platform. Let's check it out 😆

1. A&W 

I've been craving for the Coney Dog , Mozza Burger and the cold Root Beer so much, hence this is the 1st place I went for. As you all know, A&W fast food restaurant is a fondly familiar face for most Malaysians.

 It has been a memorable part of growing up for many of us . Like me, most of us enjoy the classic like the A&W Mozza Burger, Root Beer Float, Coney Dogs and especially the Waffles . 

This all-time favourite family restaurant in CITTA Mall are one of the few A&W stores still remaining in Malaysia.

2. Gajah Mada

After that I head out to Gajah Mada which delightfully serves authentic and affordable Indonesian, Thai , Malaysian & Vietnamese cuisine, created by the Majapahit group so that you can enjoy and indulge all your favourite , be it Indonesian, Thai, your local Malaysian food or even Vietnamese food here in one go ! 

And the best thing was, Gajah Mada shares its space with 3 others restaurants. Wingstop, Canning Heritage and Tail & Fin.  You can sit anywhere you want within the space and order from any of these 4 restaurant at the same time. A great idea indeed ~! 

For the reason that, I ordered the Thai Green Curry (Beef) and Bandung Chicken with Spicy Green Chilli Set from Gajah Mada. All sets come with Steamed Rice, Condiments and Sides. You can even upgrade to Fragrant Coconut Rice ( Nasi Lemak) for RM1 only ! 

I ordered Mango Habanero and Classic Buffalo Chicken from Wingstop.  And also, the Fried Oyster Mushroom. I love the Mango Habanero wings !! The first bite is sweet & with a tease of mango sour but then the heat turns on from the Habanero Chilli itself. Finger-licking GOOD !~

For Canning Heritage, I've tried on the Roasted Chicken Rice. Canning Heritage's Chicken Rice was inspired by the famous Hong Kong-styled preparation and cooking technique Definitely a MUST-have !

And for a healthier meal, you can also choose meals from Tail & Fin. My favourite yet is the The Omega which uses protein meat from my chosen fish - SALMON ! Topped with Surimi Crab, Romaine Lettuce , Tomato , Red Onion, Toasted Multigrain and Corn. Garnished with Honey Sesame Aioli and Japanese Citrus. This is unquestionably DELICIOUS and wholesome food for you to enjoy ! 

I drank the Rose Bud Tea and it was really refreshing. Drinking this while chit-chatting with friends surely is relaxing and calming .

3. Jom Laksa

On the evening, as for my last food hunting session. I've stopped by at Jom Laksa stall. For your information, Jom Laksa has its roots as a small hawker stall in Penang 35 years ago, incorporating the family's secret recipe. From its humble beginnings, the family business has now evolved into a modern and trendy concept store selling the best Asam Laksa in town  and ultimately throughout Malaysia using the freshest and best quality ingredients while preserving the unique family secret recipe for all to enjoy! 

Ultimately of course I will try the Asam Laksa Original, pack with flavour. Just the right amount of fish meat , laksa noodle, vegetables and complementary of shrimp sauce to give the broth a little more Ooommpphhh !! Just like the ones you'll have in Penang Island. 

My Friends ate the Nyonya Curry Laksa and the Fried Chicken with Turmeric Rice 'Nasi Kunyit Ayam Goreng'. Such delightful and flavoursome dishes to consume on our last rendezvous together. 

And to finish off our food hunting craze, I chose the Cendol Jagung (Corn). The perfect dessert to end my food hunting get together with friends.

But of course, if you are not in the mood to go out or just plain lazy to go out because of the covid19 . You can always get all these delectable appetizing sustenance through delivery orders and that is why myCITTA is the right place for you !! 

The reason for this digital platform was mainly because from the Covid-19 outbreak, has brought t0 the fore  among retail business the importance of being omnipresent across all channels to meet consumer needs and demands.
