  1. Your SPF ( Sun Protection Factor ) is less than 30 SPF. 
  2. You did not re-apply Sunscreen after 2-3 hours in the direct sun or after you sweat profusely after a workout or so.
  3. You apply sunscreen AFTER you are expose to the sun. 
  4. You did not apply enough Sunscreen. For face, ideally apply about 2 finger. ( Depend on the size of your face ) and for your body, any skin that will be exposed have to be apply to avoid sunburn.  
So there you go~! Always remember to apply sunscreen regardless staying indoor or outdoor as you will be exposed to UV Rays that are harmful to your skin!
